It's been sooo long

ok so i know this will be boring to most but i need to start from May 26th, seeing as though this is as much for the babies to have as for everyone else too. This is what i looked like when we got to the hospital the morning of the c section Ericka and Erin went with me. C section was scheduled for 4:30 depending on the results of the amnio. So we went in and had the amnio done which by the way was the worst thing ever it hurt so very bad. They took fluid from Caylee. And then an ultrasound like all the other weeks and all the babies came back looking great. Dr Hayes's nurse Ann came in and gave me the bad news and said the amnio was not mature I was devastated. Ericka too. So after the amnio they send you to labor and deliery to be monitored and after they got all the monitors on and found all the babies heartbeats i started having contractions. And they were very strong never remember having them so bad with Allie or Ericka. Ericka had called everyone after the amnio and told them it was a no go and we would call them later. So Dr Halloin came in and saw how things were going and he said everyone was already scheduled and that we were gonna just go ahead and take them. I was a little nervous cause of the amnio results but decided it was do or die. Ericka called Calvin for the third time that day and said it was back on and that he needed to get Allie and get up there ASAP. So about 4:00 calvin got his nice blue suit on and if you look a the picture you can tell he was nervous just by the way he is standing there holding his hands.

34 Weeks!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Well we had our appt today, we had a u/s where they checked breathing, which all were doing, heartrates, and also movement, which i can tell you they are definately moving all the time. My peri said all passed with flying colors and he couldn't be more impressed with the whole pregnancy. so good news!!!!!!! We scheduled the amnio for tuesday morning at 8 am, you have to stay an hour after to be monitored for contractions. They said sometimes you go into labor after an amnio, we should have the results before we leave. YEAH!!!!!! They said the c-section will either be on thursday or friday. After we saw the ob and he measured me, omg i measured 53 weeks, how nice is that? he could have just said HUGE. lol I am still not dialated at all!!!! We talked about the c-section and i asked him if he would come in this weekend if it was to happen, i know wishful thinking, he said he will be gone friday and saturday and that if it did happen to wait till sunday. So i guess it is just a waiting game now.

33 Weeks

Just thought i should get on here right away or Dawn would be calling, lol. Actually she called on the way home. Anyway we had another good appointment today all the babies were practicing breathing and were moving like crazy. Timmy weighes 5lbs 2oz, Joey is 4lbs 12oz, Caylee is 4lbs 11oz. The dr still says i was meant to do this. If i make it to the day ofter memorial day they will do an amnio and check the lungs and if all looks good we can do the c section then. Otherwise they said i could keep going but i am pretty sure that i am sooooo ready to have them. I have been having contractions everyday some little and some bad ones. Just not sure if they are doing anything or not. I go back again next Wednesday afternoon.

32 Weeks

Today i had my ultrasound and the babies needed to pass certain tests. Well they all passed with flying colors!!! They were all practicing breathing and moving like crazy. My doctor told me if i would go into labor before 34 weeks they would stop it and give me steroid shots for lung maturity after 34 weeks they would just let me go. If heaven forbid i go to 35 weeks they would do an amnio to check the lungs and if they were ready they would take them. So for now I am hoping to make it to 34 weeks and just let me go!!!!!! I am not looking forward to having an amnio. There are alot of risks. So I will try to hang in there for one and a half weeks longer.

31 weeks

Well I saw both drs today and both think I am doing a great job. Good news!!! They just checked my cervix which is still holding strong at 4.5 and heartrates. Next week we start long ultrasounds again cause they check all kinds of things, movement and other things like that. My ob even said if iI keep going the way I am I could make it to 35 weeks, it will be a long four weeks. lol Today I measured 49 weeks so I grew 3 weeks in just one. I gained 5 more pounds!!! I was reading online that the babies should be gaining a half pound a week now. I don't know if they will have enough room to gain that much. Doctor said most of my gain is baby weight and retaining water. So I will update you all again in a week I go on Wednesday.

30 1/2 Weeks Sorry it's Late!!!!

People have been calling wondering why I haven't updated yet and my puter was on the fritz but it is all better now. So on Wednesday I got to see both doctors and had my U/S. The babies have all gained a pound!!! Timmy is 3.10lbs, Joey and Caylee were both 3.7lbs. Shayna (the u/s tech) said both of the boys had peach fuzz on the back of their heads and of course Caylee was looking the wrong way. Joey was even practicing breathing, she could tell cause his diaphram was moving. Caylee and Joey were kicking each other. It amazes me everytime I go on what they can see. And how exactly they know what it is.

As for me I gained another 3 pounds and measured 46 weeks. I measured around and I was 50 1/2 inches. HUGE!!!!!!! My blood pressure is still good. Now I have a rash on my arms and stomach it is called PUPP, the real name was too long to remember, the dr gave me a very strong steroid cream and it seems to be helping some. It will be here until I deliver. I asked the dr how long he would let me go and he said there are alot of things that would be considered, blood pressure, the rash, baby size, and how the babies are dealing with losing all their room.
He had one triplet mom go to 37 1/2 weeks. holy crap!!! I cannot even imagine going that long. I would be thrilled with making it two more weeks.

Ericka went with me this week, then we went to Olive Garden and met Mary Kay and Paul. Ericka just wants the babies to come, she is already counting the days till she leaves for the air force which is Jule 14th. I can tell you I am not looking forward to that day. Will update again next week!!!!!!! I go on Tuesday.
